Carrd builds one-page sites, which is what makes it fast and almost free. The day a project needs a second page with its own URL, there is no bigger Carrd plan to move to.

  • Stay on Carrd if…

    The site is a link hub, launch page, profile or single landing page, and sections with anchor links are enough. Carrd starts from $9/year, or $19/year for a custom domain, which is hard to beat.

  • Look at Siter.io if…

    The project needs real pages with their own URLs, the design exists in Figma, and you want to place things on a canvas rather than stack them in a panel.

Pro Lite, $9 a year, gives “Premium URLs”, not custom domains. It removes the Made with Carrd footer and the element limit; your own domain, forms, widgets, embeds and analytics start at Pro Standard, $19 a year.

Redirects, password protection, site files and Download Sites need Pro Plus at $49 a year. Against Carrd’s 10 sites for $19 a year, our 3 sites on Plus at $12/mo is not a price argument.

  • The price is not close

    Pro Standard is $19 a year. Siter.io's Solo is $7 a month, which is $84 a year. For a single link-in-bio page there is no argument to make: Carrd wins outright.

  • Nothing to learn

    One page, a stack of elements, publish. There is no canvas, no breakpoint model and no Figma step, which is the point. Siter.io asks you to lay out a design, by hand, from a Figma frame or with Siter AI.

  • Three free sites, not one

    Three live one-page sites on the free plan, with a Carrd footer. Siter.io's Free plan publishes one website, at name.getsiter.com.

  • You can download the site

    Download Sites is listed on Pro Plus at $49 a year. Siter.io's HTML download is Pro only and works one page at a time: a ZIP with the page's HTML and its images, CSS and JavaScript, not a full-site export.

How moving goes.

A Carrd page is one screen of content. Rebuilding it takes an afternoon, not a migration.

  1. Keep the Carrd page live while you build.
  2. Send the Figma frame with the plugin.
  3. Add the pages Carrd could not hold.
  4. Point the domain at the new site.

Nothing to import, and that is fine

Siter.io has no Carrd importer, and Carrd’s Download Sites on Pro Plus does not say what the download contains. Nobody migrates one screen anyway: they rebuild it.

From Figma, the import runs on every plan including free, one-way import, no re-sync. Prototype animations and interactions do not import; keep the Carrd page live until the new one is ready.

What you give up.

Moving from Carrd costs you money and simplicity. Here is the whole bill.

  • A much higher price. $84 a year against $19, and we are never the cheap option here.
  • A smaller free plan. Free publishes one website at name.getsiter.com with 3 pages, 1 form taking 10 submissions a month, and our badge. Carrd’s free plan puts three live sites online.
  • Something to learn. Carrd has a settings panel; we have a canvas, breakpoints and a Figma step.
  • No CMS, collections or blog. Same as Carrd: neither of us solves this.
  • No e-commerce. It is listed as upcoming, with no date, while Carrd has payment-enabled forms from Pro Standard.
  • Limited code export. HTML download on Pro only, one page at a time: a ZIP with the page's HTML and its images, CSS and JavaScript, not a full-site export.

In return: pages with their own URLs, 10 on Solo and on Pro; a canvas that positions things; the Figma import on every plan; and editors inside the plan, 2 on Solo and 6 on Pro. If your site is one page and will stay one page, Carrd does it better for far less.
