A visual website editor that works like a design tool

Put anything anywhere on a free-form canvas, line it up with smart guides, and publish the page exactly as you drew it.

The Siter.io editor: an image on a fictional nursery's page is dragged into place on the canvas, a red smart guide lines its top up with the heading and it snaps, the Layers panel highlights it, and holding Alt shows its distance to the edges of the page.

The controls designers already know.

  • Draw from the keyboard

Press a letter to pick the Text, Button, Image, Rectangle, Slider or Form tool, then draw it anywhere on the page.

    6 elements a key away

    • Text (T)
    • Button (B)
    • Image (I)
    • Rectangle (R)
    • Slider (S)
    • Form (F)
  • Hover states, drawn on the page

Add Hover beside Default and style it right on the canvas, and visitors see it on the live site.

  • A layout for every screen

Desktop, Tablet and Mobile each keep their own position, size and style for every element, plus any width you add.

Build it once, reuse it everywhere.

Turn a card into a component, keep a row of them evenly spaced with auto layout, and publish from the same window.

  1. Components

Make a component from any design, place instances, and edit the master to change every copy at once.

  2. Auto layout

Gap, padding and alignment keep a row of cards evenly spaced when one of them grows.

  3. Clip content

A frame hides whatever runs past its edges, so a crop stays a crop.

  4. Publish

The page goes live from the top bar, with nothing to export and no handoff.

From a blank page to a live one.

  1. Draw the sections

Start a page, draw a frame for each section, and drop in text, images and buttons.

  2. Place and refine

Drag anything anywhere, let smart guides line it up, then add Hover states and animations.

  3. Check each screen, then publish

Adjust the Tablet and Mobile layouts, preview the page, and press Publish.

What is a visual website editor?

A tool where you build a page by arranging it on screen instead of writing code. In Siter.io that is a free-form canvas: elements sit where you drop them, and you style them in the panel beside it.

Is Siter.io a drag-and-drop website builder?

Yes, but not a block builder that stacks ready-made sections. You get absolute positioning, layers, groups and frames, with smart guides to line things up and auto layout when a row should keep its spacing.

Can I design a website like in Figma?

Much of it works the same: frames, auto layout, components, a layers tree, color styles and Alt to measure. If the design already exists, the Figma plugin brings a frame across, on every plan including free: one-way import, no re-sync.

Does the visual editor work on mobile layouts?

Yes. A separate layout for each breakpoint: Desktop 1200, Tablet 640 and Mobile 375 by default, plus any custom width you add. You arrange each one, so the phone version reads the way you mean it to (how breakpoints work).

Can I add custom code, or run a blog?

Code, yes: head code for the whole website and for each page, plus a Code element for embeds on the canvas. A blog, no: there is no CMS, so every page is designed on the canvas.

Is the editor free to use?

Yes. You can design on the Free plan, and it publishes 1 website at name.getsiter.com. See the plans for what the paid ones add.

Put it where
you want it.

Open a blank page, draw the first frame, and lay the site out the way you would lay out a design file.
