Run your Siter websites from Claude or ChatGPT

Connect Siter's MCP server, then just ask. Check your visitors, read form messages, publish a page or start a Siter AI build, right from the chat.

Available on paid plans.

A chat with an AI assistant beside a pottery studio's website. The assistant reports the site's visitor numbers, lists its new form messages and, after asking, publishes its Classes page.

Your websites, one question away.

  • Read it, change it, publish it

Check your numbers, add a page, change its search settings and put it live, all from one chat.

  • You see what it can do

When you connect, Siter lists each right in plain words, and nothing works until you click Allow.

  • Start a Siter AI build

Describe the page, and the chat hands you a link that opens the build in the editor, on your account's credits.

See what's connected, and what it changed.

One screen in your account holds every connected app, every token and their recent changes.

  1. Apps

Every assistant you allowed is listed in Account settings, with when you connected it.

  2. Disconnect

One click, and that app stops working at once. Connect it again whenever you like.

  3. API tokens

Your own scripts and tools get their own tokens, listed right beside the apps.

  4. Recent changes

Each change a connected app makes is written down, so you can see who published what.

Things to ask it.

  • "Which pages get the most visitors?"

Totals against the period before, plus top pages, sources, countries and devices from Siter Analytics.

  • "Summarize this week's form messages."

Your assistant reads what people sent through your forms and can sort, summarize or draft replies in the chat.

  • "Improve the search title of my pricing page."

It reads the page, then changes its search title and description, or hides it from search.

  • "Add a Workshops page, copied from Classes."

A blank page or a copy of one you have. It stays unpublished until you say otherwise.

  • "Publish it."

The page goes live as last saved in the editor, within a few seconds. Unpublishing works the same way.

  • "Add a price calculator to that page."

Your assistant writes an App, Siter checks it, and a link places it on the page in the editor. On Pro websites.

Connected in three steps.

The connection guide has the details, including how to disconnect.

  1. Add a custom connector

In Claude or ChatGPT, open the connectors settings and add a custom connector.

  2. Paste the address

Use https://api.siter.io/mcp as the connector's address.

  3. Log in and allow

Log in to Siter when it asks, check what it can do, then click Allow.

What is an MCP server?

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets AI assistants use another product's tools. Siter's MCP server gives your assistant a set of actions on your Siter websites, after you allow it.

Which assistants can I use?

Claude and ChatGPT, each as a custom connector. For your own scripts and other tools, make a personal API token.

Which plans include it?

Paid plans. A Free account can connect, but each action answers with a link to upgrade. The pricing page lists the plans.

Will it publish without asking me?

Siter tells the assistant to ask you before it publishes, but the assistant is what follows that, so check how yours handles approvals. Publishing also has its own lower speed limit, and every change shows in Recent changes.

Can it change my page's design or text?

Not directly. It can add pages, change search settings, place an App and start a Siter AI build that runs in the editor. Design and text changes happen in the editor, where you can see them.

Can it delete anything?

No. There is no delete action. It can unpublish a page, which stays in the editor and can go live again.

What happens to my data?

What you ask for in a chat, including form messages, is shared with the assistant you chose, and its own terms apply from there. Our privacy policy has the details.
