What it is for.

Siter.io is a design tool that publishes. You lay a page out on a canvas that behaves like the design tools you already use, or you send a frame across from Figma, and then it goes live on your own domain.

That shape decides everything else on this page. There is no class system to learn, no content model to define and no deployment step, which is why a designed portfolio or a marketing site gets finished quickly. It is also why a blog, a shop or a hundred-page site does not belong here at all.

The pages below go one capability at a time. Each one is mostly about how to actually do the thing and what goes wrong, because the table further down already answers which plan includes what.

Four things it does not do.

Better to find these here than three days into a rebuild. None of them is a plan you can upgrade to.

No CMS or blog
Pages are designed one at a time, not generated from entries in a collection. If your case studies or posts come out of a content model, this is the wrong tool and no plan changes that.
No e-commerce
Listed as upcoming, with no date attached. Anything involving a cart, a product catalogue or payments needs a different platform today.
No real-time co-editing
Also listed as upcoming. Two people cannot safely have the same site open at once, which is a planning constraint rather than an inconvenience.
The free plan does not publish
It builds and previews privately. Publishing to a public URL, on your own domain or on a siter.io subdomain, needs a paid plan. Any page describing this product as free publishing is wrong.
