API tokens for your own tools and scripts

Make a personal token, pick exactly what it can do, and connect Siter to Claude Code, n8n, Make or your own script through its MCP server.

Available on paid plans.

A new Siter token is copied into a terminal and added to Claude Code with one command, which then publishes a page.

Automate your websites, on your terms.

  • Thirteen tools, your rights

A token reaches the same actions as a connected assistant, limited to the rights you gave it.

  • End it whenever you want

A token ends on the date you chose, and it stops at once if you revoke it or change your password.

  • Every change on record

What a token changes appears in Recent changes under the name you gave it.

A token that does only what you said.

Name it, pick its rights and choose when it ends, all in your account.

  1. Name

Call it after the tool that uses it, so you know which one to revoke.

  2. It can

Tick only what the tool needs. A token that only reads can never publish.

  3. Ends after

Pick 30 days, 90 days or a year. Make a new token when it ends.

From token to first call.

In Claude Code

One command adds Siter as an MCP server, then ask for what you need.

Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http siter https://api.siter.io/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $SITER_TOKEN"

Ready in three steps.

  1. Make a token

Go to Account settings, open Connected apps and choose Make a token.

  2. Copy it once

Pick its rights and copy the token. It is shown once, so keep it somewhere safe.

  3. Add it to your tool

Point the tool at https://api.siter.io/mcp and send the token as a bearer token.

Is this a REST API?

No. Tokens work with Siter's MCP server, which takes JSON-RPC requests over HTTP. There are no separate REST endpoints today, so use a tool or script that can call an MCP server.

Which tools can use a token?

Claude Code, n8n, Make and anything else that can reach an MCP server over HTTP and send a bearer token. To use Claude or ChatGPT in a chat, connect them as a custom connector instead, with no token.

Which plans include tokens?

Paid plans, both to make a token and to use one. The pricing page lists the plans.

What happens if a token leaks?

Revoke it in Account settings and anything using it stops at once. Changing your password ends all your tokens too. We keep only a fingerprint of each token, which is why it can be shown just once.

Are there limits on how often I can call it?

Yes. Each connection has limits per minute and per day, and publishing and Siter AI have lower ones. Over a limit, the tool answers that you should try again later.

Can a token delete a website?

No. There is no delete action. A token with the publishing right can unpublish a page, which stays in the editor.

Give your tools
a token.

Make one in your account, pick its rights, and use it from Claude Code, n8n, Make or your own script.
