Portfolio website builder for designers
Lay out your portfolio on a free-form canvas, the way you would in a design tool, and publish it on your own domain. Every case study is a page you design, on every screen.
It looks like your work, because you laid it out.
-
A canvas, not a theme
Place every project where it reads best, with smart guides, auto layout and reusable components.
-
Projects that answer the cursor
Give each case-study card a Hover state, designed on the canvas instead of coded.
-
Your CV, one click away
Upload the PDF to your site's Files and link any button to it, and it opens in the browser.
Every screen, placed by you.
Reviewers open your link on a phone first. Arrange each case study for that screen yourself, instead of hoping a theme reflows well.
Breakpoints
Desktop, Tablet and Mobile come ready. Press + to add any width you need.
Mobile
Stack the case study in one column for phones, without touching the desktop layout.
Scale On Large Screens
Let the layout stretch on wide monitors, or keep it at the size you drew.
Show Layout Grid
Turn on the grid to line the work up on every screen.
Live in three steps.
-
Design one case study
Lay out the home page and your strongest project on Desktop, or import them from Figma.
-
Arrange every screen
Switch to Tablet and Mobile and place each page for that width, then copy it for the next project.
-
Publish and send it
Add the contact form and your CV, fill each page's SEO fields, and publish.
Frequently asked.
What is the best portfolio website builder for designers?
The one that lets the portfolio look like your work rather than like the builder. If you lay pages out yourself, a free-form canvas with a layout per screen beats a theme you rearrange. If you need a blog or a shop beside the portfolio, pick a builder that has one, because Siter.io does not.
Can I make a portfolio website for free?
Yes, a small one. The free plan publishes 1 website at name.getsiter.com; a custom domain needs a paid plan, with 3 pages and 1 form: room for a short selection and a contact page. Free websites always show the “Built with Siter.io” badge, with a small Report abuse link; on any paid plan you can switch it off in Settings (see the plans).
Can I use my Figma designs?
Yes. The Figma plugin imports your frames into a Siter page on every plan. The import is one-way, and prototype interactions stay behind, so hovers are set up again on the canvas. More on the plugin.
How many case studies can I add?
As many as your plan has pages on a website (see the plans). A long scrolling page with several projects as sections counts as one page.
Can visitors download my CV?
Yes, on a paid plan. Upload the PDF in the Files tab and link any button or text to it. Files are public to anyone with the link.
How do I show work under NDA?
Show the process and a redacted result. Write the case study around the problem and your decisions, remove client names and sensitive screens, and offer to walk through the rest on a call.
