Readymag has the bigger toolbox: version history, password protection, Lottie, a large font and icon library. Siter.io has the Figma import and no view cap on paid plans, so pick on those two.

    You use the widget set, version-history snapshots and password protection, and your traffic fits your tier’s cap. Readymag starts from EUR 13/mo billed yearly on the EU price sheet.

  • Look at Siter.io if…

    You design on Siter’s canvas or in Figma, you would rather not watch a monthly view allowance, and you want several sites on your own domains without a tier jump.

The view cap

Readymag caps views per month across all your published sites: 10,000 on Personal, 25,000 on Freelancer, 75,000 on Advanced. A quiet portfolio never notices, but a project that gets picked up hits a ceiling for the whole account.

Readymag does not say what happens past the cap, so ask them before you commit. A second site on your own domain also means Freelancer at EUR 27 a month, where Plus at $12/mo publishes 3 sites and Pro at $24/mo publishes 5, each on its own domain.

Where Readymag wins.

The closest comparison on the site, and the list is real. If any of it matters to you, stay where you are.

  • A canvas with a safety net

    Version history snapshots run from 6 on Personal to 44 on Advanced, and password protection covers a whole site or selected pages. Siter.io documents neither at that level of detail.

  • Code export exists

    Advanced includes code export and iframe embedding. Siter.io's HTML download is Pro only and works one page at a time: a ZIP with the page's HTML and its images, CSS and JavaScript, not a full-site export.

  • Hand-arranged layouts, like ours, plus more widgets

    Desktop, mobile and tablet layouts with Lottie, Adobe and type.today fonts, and 2m+ Noun Project icons included. It is a bigger toolbox on the same responsive model.

Why designers leave.

Four limits, all on Readymag’s own pricing page rather than from forums.

  • Your traffic is metered

    Views are capped per month across all your published sites: 10,000 on Personal, 25,000 on Freelancer, 75,000 on Advanced. No other builder on this site meters traffic that way, and a post that does well is a billing event.

    Code export appears only on Advanced, which is EUR 51 a month billed yearly on the EU sheet. On Personal and Freelancer there is no way to take the built site with you.

How moving goes.

Two canvases with no shared format, so this is a rebuild.

  1. Open the original design file.
  2. Send the frame with the plugin.
  3. Rebuild interactions on the canvas.
  4. Move the domain when it looks right.

No import path between them

Readymag’s code export is on Advanced, EUR 51 a month billed yearly on the EU sheet, and Siter.io has no Readymag importer. So the route is the design file, not the built site.

The import runs on every plan including free: one-way import, no re-sync, and prototype animations and interactions do not import. Both lay out each screen width by hand, so responsive work carries over well; keep the Readymag site live while you build.

What you give up.

Readymag has more product than we do. These are the parts you would miss.

  • Version history snapshots. Readymag counts them per project: 6, 12 or 44 by tier. Yes, without a per-project count.
  • Password protection. Readymag covers a whole site or selected pages from Personal up, and Siter.io does not list it.
  • A bigger widget set. Lottie, free Adobe and type.today fonts, 2m+ Noun Project icons. You can upload your own font files, and the box of parts is smaller.
  • A smaller free plan. Free publishes one website at name.getsiter.com with 3 pages, 1 form and 1 GB a month of visitor traffic. Readymag’s free plan publishes a 10-page site.
  • No CMS, collections or blog. Readymag’s pricing page does not mention one either.
  • Limited code export. HTML download on Pro only, one page at a time: a ZIP with the page's HTML and its images, CSS and JavaScript, not a full-site export. Readymag’s is Advanced-only.

In return: no monthly view cap on paid plans, where traffic is fair use; the Figma import on every plan; every paid site on its own domain at no extra cost; and editors inside the plan, 2 on Solo and 6 on Pro, against Readymag’s 1 on Personal. A single high-craft site that fits the view allowance is still better on Readymag.

Is Readymag free?

Is Readymag responsive?

Yes, through desktop, mobile and tablet layouts you arrange separately; Siter.io works the same way, plus custom widths.

What happens if a Readymag site passes its view limit?

Readymag lists the caps (10,000 views a month on Personal, 25,000 on Freelancer, 75,000 on Advanced, across all your sites) but not what happens past one. If a traffic spike is possible, ask Readymag before you rely on it.
