What we promise about them.

Most free online tools are a queue, an upload and an upsell. These are not, and the reasons are structural.

Nothing is uploaded
Every one of these runs in your browser using the canvas and the DOM. Your file is read locally and never sent anywhere, so an unreleased client logo stays on your machine. Once a page has loaded, its tool also works with the network off; the dot avatar maker loads its 3D studio as the page opens, so that needs to finish first.
No account, no watermark
There is no sign-up wall, no email gate and no export limit. If a tool here starts asking for your address before it will finish the job, we have broken our own rule and you should tell us.
One tool per page
Each page does one thing and loads one small script. No bundle, no framework, no third-party library, with two exceptions that siter.io hosts itself and loads only where they are needed — the dot avatar maker's script loads a 3D studio built on three.js, an open-source 3D library under the MIT license, and the AI image checker and metadata viewer load c2pa-web when a file carries Content Credentials. The tool itself adds no tracking of its own, and the site-wide scripts in our page shell load here exactly as they do on every other page of this site.
The writing is the point
Under each tool is a proper explanation of the format and its traps, because the thing most people actually need is to know which setting to choose and why.

Why we made them.

Honestly? Because they are useful to the same people we build the main product for, and because a good tool page earns links in a way a product page never will. There is no cleverer story than that.

What we get out of it is that some of you will look at what else we make. What you get is a tool that does the job without asking for anything, which is rarer than it should be.
