Add a product configurator to your website

Describe your options and Siter AI builds an interactive product configurator. Visitors pick a size, a color and extras, watch the price change at every step, then send you their choice.

A made-to-order bicycle configurator as a visitor sees it: a bicycle drawn in the chosen color, three frames (City 450 euros, Trekking 620 euros selected, Gravel 780 euros), a row of color swatches, two extras ticked (Rear rack 45 euros, Front light 30 euros), a total of 695 euros and a Send request button.

An online product configurator that sells while you sleep.

  • The price changes as they pick

Every choice updates the total on the spot, so visitors see what they are building and what it costs.

  • Requests come to you

When a visitor sends their choice, it is saved in your Form entries and emailed to you.

    2 places the requests land

    • Form entries
    • Your email
  • Takes your colors and fonts

The configurator is part of the page, so it wears your brand colors, text color, background and corner radius.

Describe it, then build it.

Place an App, say what visitors can choose, and Siter AI writes it, tests it and shows it on your canvas.

  1. What should the app do?

Say what you sell and which options a visitor picks, such as size, color and extras, and what each one costs.

  2. Or start from one of these

Pick Product configurator and Siter AI starts from a configurator that shows the price as options are picked.

  3. Build

Siter AI writes the configurator and tests it, fixing an error if it finds one, while you watch the progress.

  4. Try it on the canvas

It runs in its own sandbox, apart from your website. Double-click it to pick options yourself.

What this configurator is.

It is a small, interactive product configurator that sits on your own page. You describe the choices, such as frame, color and extras, and what each one adds to the price.

It is not a 3D viewer and not a store plug-in. Visitors send you their choice as a request, and you take it from there.

Use it for made-to-order products, packages with add-ons, or anything where seeing the total as you choose helps a visitor decide.

From idea to live in three steps.

  1. Place an App

Pick App in the left toolbar and put it on the page where the product is sold.

  2. Describe your options

Write the choices and their prices, or start from Product configurator, and press Build.

  3. Publish and test it

Publish the page, build one yourself, and check that the request arrives in Form entries and your email.

How do I add a product configurator to my website?

Place an App from the editor's left toolbar and describe the options, or start from Product configurator. Siter AI writes it and tests it, and you publish the page like any other. It is not an embed or a code snippet.

Is it product configurator software?

It is a small configurator you describe and place on your page, not a separate software system. It is not 3D and it is not a CPQ tool: visitors pick options, see the price change, and send you their choice.

What can visitors choose?

Whatever you describe, such as a size, a color and extras. Siter AI builds the choices and shows the price as each option is picked.

Where do the requests go?

To Form entries and to your email. When a visitor sends their choice, it is saved in your website's Form entries and emailed to you.

Can I change the configurator after it is built?

Yes. Choose Change the app…, describe the change, and Siter AI makes a new version. The one on the page is tagged Shown, and Restore brings an earlier version back.

Is it safe to put on my website?

It runs in its own sandbox, apart from your website, with no access to your cookies or account. Each version is checked against Siter's rules, and a page showing a version that failed the check cannot be published.

Which plan do I need for a product configurator?

You can build and preview one on any plan, including Free. An app shows on your published website on paid plans, and each plan includes its own number of apps per website. See the plans.

Let your visitors build
what they want.

Describe the options, place the configurator on a page like any other element, and get each request by email.
